Graham Mactavish (if I remember it corerctly) said that they’d be filming additional scenes for The Desolation of Smaug mid-May. It’s mid-May and I saw some reports that they are starting to film again in NZ.

But Sherlock is still filming. Does that mean Bilbo is not…

Oh! now I get it. They’re filming BotFA (I’m so sorry, I’m still not finished with LOTR. I’m such an embarrassment to this fandom). That could give better time for Martin to film later. Thanks clearing that up.

Graham Mactavish (if I remember it corerctly) said that they’d  be filming additional scenes for The Desolation of Smaug mid-May. It’s mid-May and I saw some reports that they are starting to film again in NZ.

But Sherlock is still filming. Does that mean Bilbo is not included in the additional scenes? But didn’t Martin Freeman said last January that he’d be back in NZ sometime this summer?
